LA COOPERATIVA DEL CAMPO LA UNION AB was founded at the beginning of the 1950's, it is based in Tarazona de La Mancha, a small village, in the Province of Albacete, Spain. Our main objective is to create one of the treasures of our Castilian homeland . Our wines have the Origin Denomination "LA MANCHA", as well as VINO DE NUESTRA TIERRA DE CASTILLA LA MANCHA. D.O. We count with over 5,500 Ha of Vineyards and the most modern and adequate infrastructure for the manufacturing, bottling and stocking process.  

 

 

 

 

 

The Origin Denomination LA MANCHA covers an extension of 180.000 ha. of vineyards, distributed between 182 municipalities of Ciudad Real, Toledo, Albacete y Cuenca Provinces .

La Mancha is considered the largest wine production area in the world, it is made up of huge natural region, that characterises for its Extreme Continental Climate and an Extreme altitude with 700 mt above the sea level. 

A large part of our vineyards is dedicated to the white grape variety Airén, and also of the  Bobal, Pardillo, Verdoncho and Macabeo, between the red ones we have a majority  Tempranillo, Moravia, Garnacha and Cabernet-Sauvignon.

 

 

 

The genuine wine from our Castilla-La Mancha meadows continues being the Airen, with light yellow colour. Our red wines and clarets are clean and low in acidity. From the Tempranillo variety, we obtain the young red or reds which have been submitted to a moderated  breeding process inside oak barrels with 225 litres capacity.
